A. Yes all products unless specified will come with battery, charger and user manual.
Q: How many hours will the battery last?
A: For our standard batteries performance time is widely affected by the heat setting and will last from 2.5 hours to 8 hours on a single full charge. For detailed information on the battery performance for both the standard and extended batteries, please don’t hesitate to contact us by e-mail.
Q: How do I know that the battery is charging?
A: When plugged into the charger the indicator light on the charger will be red; once fully charged the indicator light will be green.
Q: How do I adjust the heat level setting?
A: To turn on the the power level, press the control button located above the chest zipper on the left side of the jack, and hold the button down for 3 seconds or more. This sends the Heated Clothing into pre-heat mode, which provides accelerated heat output to quickly warm you before it drops down to a medium heat output. The control button will fade in and out with a red color in this pre-heat mode. You can then control the heat level in the following ways:
Push the button again to put the jacket in HIGH (button will light up solid red).
Push again to go to MEDIUM heat (button will light up white).
Push again to go to LOW heat (button will light up blue).
Push again and the jacket will go back to HIGH.
Q: Are the gloves waterproof?
A: Yes, all of our gloves have a waterproof, breathable membrane.
Q: Does the heating element washable? What are the care instructions for garments/gloves?
A: Hand wash or machine-wash on the gentle or delicate cycle using the warm-water setting (water temperature below 50°F/10ºC) and a mild detergent.
Do not use bleach. Remove from washer and hang/air dry. Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Do not wring out or twist the garments, this will damage the heating elements.
Q: Are the batteries rechargeable?
A: Yes.
Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?
A: It takes approximately 4 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery.
Q: How can I tell how much power is left in the battery?
A: While the battery is off press and release the power button once and the indicator lights will turn on momentarily;
full power you will see four lights on while one light indicates little power left.
Q: What happens if the battery stays connected to the charger too long?
A: Both the battery and charger have overcharge protection, but we strongly do recommend that the battery be unplugged after fully charging.
Q: What should I do about my battery when I am not using it?
A: You should keep your battery stored with a full charge to help extend battery life. For longer periods of time (like during the summer months) you should periodically charge the battery.
